Biography of a Road Well Traveled


My first career opportunity came as a technology engineer and operations manager with IBM manufacturing where I participated in the world’s first successful 200mm computer-chip manufacturing start-up, and it was here that I first developed my deep analytical skills that helped to scale several critical production processes for volume manufacturing. 

After IBM I moved to Varian Semiconductor Equipment in Austin, Tx as a Field Service Operations Manager where we transformed the operation from the worst to the best over a four-year period. We successfully rebuilt the operations group "from the ground up" based on our customer’s needs, and we led the efforts that successfully obtained ISO-9000 certification. I joined Progressive Systems Technology, a robotics manufacturing company, and successfully created the product development strategy, and established a customer service center in Asia to serve customers in the APAC region.

I then moved to Apple in a key leadership role that supported all North American education and retail sales operations, call center, and order management activities. I leveraged “big data” and process analysis tools that improved our workforce management, reduced our operating expenses, streamlined the order fulfillment cycle time, and improved Apple’s customer satisfaction. I also developed an organization modeling tool and Key Process Indicator (KPI) dashboard to drive continuous improvement across the organization, and I took the opportunity to coach and mentor my staff.

At this point in my life and career I wanted to try something different, to follow my passions, to see if I had the ability to make it as an entrepreneur. Did I have what it takes to help other entrepreneurs fulfill their dreams while fulfilling my own as a business coach and consultant…so I created Business Advisors of Texas.

Over the past 15 years I have provided multiple businesses with analysis, coaching, strategy, and marketing support with a focus in the construction trades and manufacturing industries. I have helped to implement new growth and revenue generation strategies, grown cash flow, and improved customer satisfaction and employee performance. I have also created websites, landing pages, and advertising campaigns, and have become a trusted advisor, mentor, and business coach.
